Amy Eastman brings her passion for social justice to ERA as a Program Assistant. She assists with almost every area of ERA’s work, including coordinating ERA’s social media efforts, monthly e-newsletters, and development projects.
Amy joined ERA as a Development and Legal Intern in September 2011. As a student at UC San Diego, Amy led the local chapter of Face AIDS, a HIV/AIDS awareness, volunteering and fundraising organization, was a leader on several campus-wide volunteer committees and was selected to attend the 2011 Clinton Global Initiative University for her work with Face AIDS. Amy gained administrative experience at Global Solutions for Infectious Diseases, a non-profit biotech focused on HIV vaccine development. She continues to be an active volunteer as an adult literacy tutor in Oakland.
