Student Leadership Board Joins Education Equity Investigation
ERA’s investigation of 116 Bay Area schools is getting a boost from the ERA Student Leadership Board, a program in which local high school students learn about their rights under Title IX and update ERA on current gender equity issues in their own schools. The student leaders will be investigating their schools’ sex discrimination policies to make sure they comply with Title IX and are easily understood by students and parents.
