Aida Sanchez, ERA’s Development Associate, is originally from Southern California. She relocated to the Bay Area in September of 2000 and became ERA’s Office Manager until 2006. She left ERA to pursue other adventures in nonprofits, such as: Academy of Friends, Peninsula Volunteers, USC Marshall School of Business, American Red Cross and Edgewood Center for Children and Families. She found her way back to where she started, at ERA, in 2014.
Aida’s main spare-time interest is helping the underprivileged. She has volunteered with “El Nido,” a Los Angeles home for battered women and their children, for over 20 years. For the past 23 years, she has also been a member and sponsor of “Projecto Mexico,” an orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico. She very much enjoys cooking, and spending as much time as possible with her family and granddaughter.
