Jenna first joined ERA as a law clerk during the 2016-2017 academic school year. After graduating in May of 2017, she rejoined ERA as a post-bar fellow and we are happy to welcome her now as a Contract Staff Attorney.
Jenna received her J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law with a Public Interest Specialization and a B.A. in Women’s and Gender Studies and English from the University of Oregon. During law school she served as a law clerk at the National Center for Lesbian Rights, AIDS Legal Referral Panel, and Duckworth Peters Lebowitz Olivier LLP. As a certified law clerk, she provided direct legal services and representation to low-wage workers through GGU’s Women’s Employment Rights Clinic.
A long time LGBTQI and gender equity activist, Jenna served as the President of GGU’s If/When/How chapter, a national reproductive justice law student association. At the University of Oregon, she worked as the Queer Ally Outreach Coordinator, and facilitated education trainings to university students and community groups about issues LGBTQI folks experience and how to create more inclusive spaces and policies.
An Oregon native, Jenna is a happy California transplant and enjoys snowboarding, going on long walks with her dog, Bowie, and searching for the best vegetarian burger with her wife, Gina.
