Cal Field Hockey: More Delays, Broken Promises

Clients from the University of California-Berkeley women’s field hockey team were featured in the San Jose Mercury News today, calling on the UC to finally finish the team’s competition and practice field. The team has been without a field for two years, after the University tore down their old field to make way for a football practice field and parking garage.

“It’s pretty discouraging to me how the campus doesn’t really care enough to get it together,” said client junior Monica Marrazzo. “We’ve had so many false hopes. It makes me sad. It feels like they don’t care.”
