Court in San Francisco to Reconsider Equal Pay Ruling

The San Francisco Chronicle covered a 9th Circuit Court of Appeals order to rehear the decision in the equal pay case Rixo v. Yovino. Senior Staff Attorney Jessica Stender, who authored an amicus brief in support of a rehearing, was quoted: 

Jessica Stender of Equal Rights Advocates in San Francisco, said Tuesday she hopes the court “recognizes that reliance on prior salary in setting pay is often a proxy for pay discrimination” barred by federal law.
