Donate for Black Women’s Equal Pay Day

This year, we recognize Black Women’s Equal Pay Day on August 3. Why August 3? Because the average U.S. Black woman (working full-time year-round) must work 8 extra months into 2021 just to catch up with average non-Hispanic white man’s earnings from 2020. Earning only 63 cents per dollar paid to white men, many Black women face pay discrimination, as well as occupational segregation, generational poverty, and economic and racist barriers to higher education, and more.

Your donation will support the work of the national Equal Pay Today coalition, led by Equal Rights Advocates. Thank you for supporting this crucial work!
