Ex-Uber employee’s viral letter reveals a bigger issue about sexual harassment in the workplace

The blog Revelist covered new allegations of sexual harassment at Uber. Executive Director Noreen Farrell explained the long-term impact sexual harassment can have working women’s careers:

“If you’re forced out of a job because you’re sick of your boss making comments, it impacts your earnings and your ability to get promotions,” Noreen Farrell, executive director of Equal Rights Advocates, told Cosmopolitan. “People tend to leave work rather than have to put up with it.”
