Women’s Economic Security Agenda Moving Forward in Sacramento

The Stronger California campaign for women’s economic security, chaired by ERA, advocates for a comprehensive platform of policy initiatives to improve the economic security of women and families in the state. 

To date, much of our 2016 priority legislation has successfully moved forward in the capitol. Read more about recent campaign wins below.

The Stable Child Care Assistance Bill (AB 2150) passes the Assembly.

Pay Equity for Women in the Workplace (AB 1676) passes the Assembly.

Leave Protection for Working Parents (SB 1166) passes the Senate.

Assembly includes Child Care Budget Request in its proposed budget.

Domestic Worker Bill of Rights (SB 1015) passes the Senate.
