You want to get to know her because:

Francine is enthusiastic about working with ERA and Equal Pay Today to develop and promote national campaigns that advocate for gender justice in the workplace and in schools.
Her professional experience includes several years of combined work in advocacy, policy, communications, program management, and legal research with organizations such as Education Cannot Wait, Children’s Law Center, Campaign for Youth Justice, and Planned Systems International.
Before joining ERA, she worked in Sierra Leone as a legal fellow at Serry Kamal law firm and volunteered with One Girl organization to promote education and provide financial assistance for girls to attend school.
During her tenure at the University of South Carolina School of Law, Francine conducted and presented research to the chief prosecutor, detailing the racial and economic disparities arising from the county diversion program’s mandatory fee, resulting in a county-wide fee reduction.
Francine is deeply committed to youth justice policy reform and dismantling the school to prison pipeline.
She is an active member of the DC Bar Association.

Outside of work:

Francine loves to travel. Her favorite destinations so far have been Brazil, Sierra Leone, Trinidad, and Spain.
She is a huge foodie and enjoys trying new restaurants. Thai, Indian, and Soul food have her heart.
She is usually rewatching The Wire, Orange is the New Black, or Girlfriends.
