Celina Barron

You want to get to know her because:
- Celina manages ERA’s tradeswomen work. As a former tradeswoman herself, she brings great stories of her experiences building the Long Beach and Los Angeles Courthouses, Kaiser Sunset and South Bay, USC, UCLA, Dodgers Stadium, Sofi Stadium, and other construction projects across Los Angeles County.
- Celina has supported her union sisters and brothers by holding multiple offices (including secretary, vice president, and president) of young worker and women’s committees. She has been particularly instrumental in writing bylaws and teaching union members parliamentary procedure, including Robert’s Rules of Order, which governs many unions.
- Celina has also worked with organizations including CLUW (the Coalition of Labor Union Women), TWTF (National Taskforce on Tradeswomen’s Issues), and TRADE (Tradeswoman Ran Association for Diversity and Equity) to support women in the labor movement.
