ποΈFOR ALL OF US podcast: Farrah & Valerie
Farrah and Valerie share what it’s like to be caregivers for aging parents. This extremely common but often invisible labor of caring for ill and aging loved ones often falls on women. No set schedule, intense physical requirements, and difficult emotional labor… and no pay. Juggling all that with fulltime work, parenting, and other responsibilities leaves caregivers burned out, with nowhere to turn for support.
In episode 2 of our podcast, “For All of Us,” Farrah and Valerie explore how government and society could better support family caregivers, who are experiencing federal cuts to resources that were already way too scarce.
This project is powered by support from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
