Jihan joined the Equal Rights Advocates Board in 2018 after many years of volunteering for the organization. She is a technology attorney licensed to practice in the State of California. She loves assisting engineers, developers, and product managers throughout all phases of the product development lifecycle by identifying, mitigating, and removing legal risks.
Jihan currently works at Marqeta as a Senior Product Counsel. Her primary focus is advising on privacy as it relates to innovative digital products. She enjoys the unique challenges presented by working with ever-changing technology in a highly regulated field. Jihan is skilled at partnering strategically with the Business to meet goals by solving problems in creative and ethical ways.
She lives in San Francisco with her husband, two children, and fiddle leaf fig plant named “Figgie.”
