- With 10 years of experience in legal nonprofit communications, Jess uses her expertise in journalism, political grassroots organizing, and trauma-informed public story sharing to empower people experiencing systemic oppression.
- She directs ERA’s media relations and digital external communications.
- In addition to helping clients share their stories in ways that support their journeys toward healing and justice, Jess specializes in developing free, accessible digital resources to teach people about their rights and empower them to take meaningful action to support their communities.
- Prior to joining ERA in 2018, Jess served as Development Director at Family Violence Appellate Project, a domestic violence legal nonprofit based in Oakland.
- She also worked as a political organizer at Planned Parenthood Pennsylvania Advocates, and for a variety of political campaigns.
- Jess has a background in journalism, including working as a reporter in Pittsburgh.
