Stop Harassment State Network

The Stop Harassment State Network was formed in the wake of the #MeToo movement by Equal Rights Advocates, the National Women’s Law Center, and Girls for Gender Equity to provide a nationwide space for advocate organizing and information sharing. Today, the Network is a high impact collaborative campaign with over 100 state and national organizational members nationwide. Through meetings and learning sessions, the Network supports workers, students, and advocates working to enact and strengthen hundreds of policies combating harassment and gender-based violence at work and school.

The Network focuses on workplace harassment and gender-based violence issues at the state and federal level, sharing strategies and resources (including policy and litigation approaches) to support advocates working for change. We regularly feature external experts and leaders in the field to share updates in the law and innovative approaches for change. The collaboration between organizations across states dramatically increases member effectiveness nationwide. See membership list below.
