I was in New York when the Cornell Seven news broke—the same day the Trump Administration formalized its rule eliminating protections for student survivors. At a gathering that night celebrating the incorporation of the New York Equal Pay Campaign as an official project of ERA, friends and colleagues grappled with the highs and lows of the day.
But this is exactly how misogyny works, isn’t it? It follows us from school to work. Our fight for safety and equality is connected, no matter where we are.
