Latina Equal Pay Day 2021

Online

This year, Latina Equal Pay Day falls on Thursday, October 21. Why October 21? Because it takes the average Latina woman, working full-time year-round, 10 extra months to earn what the average white non-Hispanic man earns in 1 year.

Twitter Storm: 11 a.m. PT / 2 p.m. ET – Join us to raise awareness about the wage gap experienced by Latina women. Alongside our Equal Pay Today coalition partners nationwide, we will be highlighting the effects of workplace discrimination, as well as the impacts of COVID-19 on Latina women and their families.

Stay tuned for our Coalition toolkit that will include hashtags to use, visual assets, sample social media language, and partner events.

Thanks to the Golden State Warriors for sponsoring the Equal Pay Today coalition’s Latina Equal Pay Day awareness raising efforts!
