On March 25 and 26, Equal Pay Today, a project of Equal Rights Advocates, gathered more than 50 state, national, and tribal organizations, allies and experts from across the country — alongside fierce Congressional champions and former administration leaders — for an Equal Pay Day reception and summit, “Justice Rising: Honoring our Champions and Defending our Future.”

During these empowering events, we reclaimed our nation’s capital for the communities and families we serve. We met with representatives, kicked off the re-introduction of the Paycheck Fairness Act in Congress, celebrated our community together, and leaned into some deep strategy work to prepare for the political landscape we face. We also announced a Year of Action with the release of the Equal Pay Today 2025-2026 Policy Agenda. You will see the fruits of this organizing in the year ahead, in our defense of your rights and our unapologetic push for continued progress.

Finally, the events would not have been possible if it were not for our wonderful co-hosts and sponsors, including Fondation CHANEL, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, the National Partnership for Women & Families, Justice for Migrant Women, MomsRising, the National Women’s Law Center, Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll, and Outten & Golden. Their commitment to pay equity and gender justice allowed us to bring together all these leaders, advocates, and experts and helped create a space for our important discussions on policy, litigation, and community mobilization that will shape the future of pay equity.

These days were empowering and impactful. We hope everyone left feeling inspired and equipped to continue advocating for pay equity. We will be taking all these lessons learned back to continue to plan throughout the year. Let’s keep the momentum going. Together, we can rise!
