
Dale Schroedel
Chair, Board of Directors; Finance Co-Chair, Representation Matters
Dale has spent most of her professional life committed to issues related to gender equality and justice. For the past twelve years, she has been a political organizer and fundraiser for projects focused on electing more women to public office, including Outreach Director for WomenCount, Programs Director for The 2012 Project, co-founder of Electing Women San Francisco, Hillary Clinton’s two presidential campaigns, London Breed for Mayor, and Volunteer Candidate Coordinator for Emerge America. She served on the Women’s Committee of Mayor London Breed’s Policy Transition Team. She is currently Finance Co-Chair of Representation Matters, working with Congresswoman Barbara Lee to elect more women of color in an effort to change the face of power. She is also Treasurer of the Board of Women Leaders Emerge, Emerge America’s 501(c)(4) organization.
Prior to involvement in electoral politics, Dale was a private investigator for 18 years, with a specialty in employment discrimination and criminal defense investigations, a contract attorney for Equal Rights Advocates briefly, Executive Director of the National Women and the Law Association for five years, and a psychiatric nurse in major New York City hospitals and institutions for five years.
Dale has a B.S. in Nursing (Hunter College, NY), an M.S. in Psychiatric Nursing (New York University), a J.D. (Cardozo School of Law), and she is a Licensed Private Investigator.
