Native Women’s Equal Pay Day 2021

Online

Raise awareness with us

This year, Native Women’s Equal Pay Day falls on Wednesday, September 8th. Why September 8? Because it takes the average Native woman, working full-time year-round, 9 extra months to earn what the average white non-Hispanic man earns in 1 year.

Twitter Storm: 11 a.m. PT / 2 p.m. ET – Join us to raise awareness about the wage gap experienced by Native women. Alongside our Equal Pay Today coalition partners nationwide, we will be highlighting the effects of workplace discrimination, as well as the impacts of COVID-19 on Native women and their families.

Click here to raise awareness with us on social media using our social media toolkit created by Coalition partners, which includes sample social media posts, images to share, hashtags to use, and partner events you can attend.
