The Founding Sisters Society
What you leave, they carry forward.
In 1974, three Berkeley Law graduates decided the fight for gender equity needed a legal home — so they built one.
More than 50 years later, that fight continues in classrooms, workplaces, and courtrooms across the country. A gift in your will or estate plan carries that same conviction forward, for the generations who come after us.
Join the Founding Sisters
The Founding Sisters Society honors those who have named ERA in their will, trust, retirement plan, or other estate plans — carrying forward the spirit of the founders for whom it’s named. Their gifts power our public education, legislative advocacy, and litigation, so women and girls across the country can keep pursuing their futures in school and at work.
As a member, you’ll receive:
- Recognition on our website and in print materials — or full anonymity, if you prefer
- Invitations to special events
- Behind-the scenes news and updates throughout the year
There are no dues, no fees, and no minimum gift.
