She highlights the damage inflected on workers by nondisclosure agreements after they experience racism, harassment, and other forms of discrimination.
A worker who’s already been subjected to discrimination or harassment at work has already suffered a trauma,” she said. “And so to impose, essentially, a gag order on them really is inflicting yet another harm on them, because they’re being silenced from sharing their story.
