USA Today: California Gov. Newsom signs law requiring companies to post salaries for job listings

Policy Director & Deputy Legal Director Jessica Ramey Stender is featured in a USA Today article about Stronger CA priority bill SB 1162 (Senator Monique Limón), the Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act, which was signed into law by Gov. Newsom.

Equal Rights Advocates praised the new law as a “blueprint for other states to follow.” “We are thrilled to see that continued public awareness about the need for pay transparency has led to this bill becoming law,” said Jessica Ramey Stender, policy director and deputy legal director.
