Comfort Siodlarz
Director of Finance
Comfort brings more than 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector to her role as Director of Finance at Equal Rights Advocates. With degrees in accounting, finance, and IT, she has extensive experience with budgets, grants/awards, sub-grants, compliance, and proposals development process, among other things. She has experience implementing federal, state, and private grants. Comfort has also worked overseas in micro-finance.
Prior to joining ERA, Comfort managed finance and operations at various nonprofit organizations, including as the Senior Director of Finance for the National Network of Domestic Violence, and Director of Finance and Administration at the CORE Group. Comfort’s has also contributed work to the Global Fund for Children, IRD, the UN Foundation, and the Arc.
Comfort has an MBA in Finance from Johns Hopkins University and a BA in Accounting from Central University.
She enjoys keeping up to date with the global financial market; learning about new software and their algorithms; and building things, including home improvement projects (DIY).
