When you donate crypto to ERA, we immediately convert your coins to dollars and put them to work to provide free legal services to women, girls and nonbinary people experiencing discrimination or sexual violence in their workplaces and schools.
Donating cryptocurrency is a non-taxable event, meaning you do not owe capital gains tax on the appreciated amount and can deduct it on your taxes. 2. Can I donate anonymously?
Yes! However, if you’d like to receive a tax receipt, you must enter your email address when prompted on the third page. A tax receipt will only be sent once you’ve entered your email address.
3. I need a wallet address to complete my donation. Where can I access this information?
You can access all of our wallet addresses by using the widget above. Once you enter the type of cryptocurrency and reach the third step, you will receive a unique wallet address which can be used to complete your donation.
4. How many times can I use the wallet address provided to me?
Once you’ve filled out your information and receive a unique wallet address, this address can be used an infinite amount of times without having to re-enter any information on our page.
