NHPI Women’s Equal Pay Day

September 15 is Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Women’s Equal Pay Day 2026, a day to raise our voices and demand economic justice for NHPI women. 

For every $1 paid to white, non-Hispanic men working full time, year-round, NHPI women working full time, year-round are only paid 67 cents. But when looking at all NHPI women earners (full-time, part-time, and part-year/seasonal), the wage gap widens to 59 cents.
