“The order is intent on erasing decades of progress toward a more inclusive society where everyone has the freedom to live authentically and pursue their dreams without discrimination,” Equal Rights Advocates executive director Noreen Farrell said in a statement. “This executive order isn’t about protecting women; it is about controlling them while simultaneously attacking some of our most vulnerable community members.”
